Loon Mountain's Snowsports School is running a two-day Peak Performance Camp for female skiers and snowboarders who are comfortable on blue terrain and above.
Terrie Anne Bennett, 41, a certified professional instructor, runs the coaching staff for the camps.
Bennett is a ski instructor and staff trainer at Loon Mountain Resort in New Hampshire and Sunday River Resort in Maine with more than 15 years of experience at ski resorts around the world.
She has taught skiing to children and adults, as well as adaptive athletes, at Black Mountain Ski Resort in Maine; Portillo in Chile; Stowe Mountain Resort in Vermont; Club Mediterranean in Colorado; and Bolton Valley Ski Resort in Vermont. She served as a race coach at Mt. Hutt in New Zealand in 1999.
Besides her professional work as an instructor and coach, Bennett also volunteers annually for the Disabled Veterans Association in Aspen, Colo.
The camp meets 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Feb. 26 and 27, and costs $200. The camp includes two full-day clinics, two-day lift ticket, 15 hours on-hill coaching, personal video, and après-ski.
Loon Mountain, in Lincoln, N.H., is enjoying some of the best snow conditions in years, thanks to bountiful natural snowfall and a massive investment over last summer in high-tech snowmaking guns.
