"Here's the thing," says Vancouver snowboarder Jerry Smithers. "It's not going to change that riding in the Flute is wicked, but it was kind of nice to have to work for it. You hike in there, get your line and hike out. Because you had to do that, not every millionaire could pay their way in. That's obviously not going to be the same." 1,000 acres of new terrain will now be accessible by chair in the new Symphony Amphitheatre.
