First-time skiers can hit the slopes for free March 19-26. Beginners have a choice of more than 25 ski resorts across seven snow-sure countries.
For a period of one week, you can learn to ski in Andorra, Aosta Valley in Italy, Canada, Finland, France, Norway or Switzerland. Book your holiday with any of the six particpating tour operators (Crystal Ski, First Choice Snow, Frontier Ski, Inghams, Ski Norway, and Thomson Ski) and your ski tuition, lift passes, and equipment hire will be thrown in for free.
Participating ski resorts in Fresher's Week include Grandvalira and Vallnord in Andorra; the Cervinia, Courmayeur, La Thuile, Monterosa, and Pila in Italy; Mont St. Anne and Big White/Silver Star in Canada; Levi, Ruka, and Salla in Finland; Avoriaz, Courchevel, Les Menuires St. Martin, Morzine, Tignes, and Val Thorens in France; Geilo, Hafjell, and Hemsedal in Norway; and Davos-Klosters, Jungfrau, Leukerbad, Verbier, St. Moritz, Saas Fee, and Zermatt in Switzerland.
