The Regional Tourism Committee of France's Midi Pyrenees area has put together a range of stay deals designed for the little ones. Children and teens can play trapper, build their own igloo, discover a few nouvelles glisses activities, and much more.
The Ski Passion en Ariège offer comes from Ascou and is aimed at children aged 6 to 9 and includes a variety of winter activities. Children learn to ski, build igloos, and ice skate during the day. At night, themed parties, games, and night sledding fill the programme. Children stay in a dorm-style holiday centre, full board, and are taken care of for an entire week (Sat. to Sat.). This offer is valid until March 5 and is priced at €595 per child.
Le Stage du Petit Trappeur in St. Paul de Jarrat lets children escape to the world of northern trappers for an entire week. They will snowshoe through the forest to find animal tracks, try dog-sledding, build an igloo or a mini cabin. One night they will sleep in a mountain refuge after having enjoyed cheese fondue. Another meal will be had right in the snow, with food cooked over an open fire. Children stay in a gite, full board, and are taken care of from Saturday to Saturday. This offer is valid Feb. 27 to March 6 or March 5 to 12 and is priced at €486 per child.
For both stays, it is possible to arrange for someone to pick the child up at the Toulouse Matabiau train station. For the Petit Trappeur stay, someone can also pick your child up from the Toulouse airport.
