Davos again will host the World Cup finale March 3-7, meaning that by the end of the competition, the decision on the male and female World Cup finalists will have been made. The event was the first competition after the Turin Olympics in March 2006. Olympic champion Evelyne Leu demonstrated her "gold" jump to the Davos spectators, once more to great celebration. Jumps will be built on the Bolgen area at Jakobshorn where everything will be prepared for the world's 100 best freestyle skiers. The finale will take place the last evening. The Freestyle Aerial competition consists of two different acrobatic jumps from prepared hills. Performances are judged on jump, height, length, execution, style, form, and landing. There will be a qualifying heat for all athletes and a final round in which only 10 of the women and 12 of the men will start.
