The Iglu Village at 2020 metres above Kühtai is hosting the Edelweiss Event March 18.
A ticket to the event costs €148 per person and includes a night's accommodation in an igloo, dinner, a snowshoe hike with tobogganing, hot wine at the fireside, live music, a €10 beverage voucher, and breakfast.
Iglu Village is comprised of 14 igloos complete with airbeds and sleeping bags. The village also offers a heated dining tent, an igloo bar, and an outdoor hot tub.
When you're packing for the Iglu Village, don't forget your winter boots (if possible water resistant); two or three pairs of warm socks; gloves, cap, and ski goggles; thermal shirt and trousers; winter clothes; headlamp or flashlight; and two big towels and flip flops for the outdoor hot tub.
There's also the chance to learn how to build an igloo according to tradition (six people minimum) priced from €99.
Due to popular demand, there are now only Standard Igloos (no Romantic Igloos left) for the event which sleep four or six people. Romantic Igloos are available on other dates (for two people) cost €327 and include extras like a bottle of Schlumberger White Prosecco and a double bed with a sheepskin blanket and warm down sleeping bag.
