Sunlight Mountain's Coors Town race series begins Feb. 18 and continues Feb. 25, March 4, with finals March 11. The team with the fastest combined time at the end of the four-week series will be crowned the Coors Town Race Series champions for the 2010-11 season.
Put a team of four together and challenge your friends and co-workers in an exciting modified Giant Slalom race. The race series includes four consecutive Friday races with each team's total time carrying over to the next week. Every racer takes two runs, and the fastest run of the two will be counted towards each team's total time for the day.
Racing starts every Friday at 1 p.m., and all four team members must be present to receive a team time for the day. Alternates can be used if a team member cannot attend.
The entry fee is $60 for each racer on a team. All racers and alternates must be signed up and paid for before the race kicks off.
"As soon as the series is over I'm already figuring out a faster team for the next year," says Town Race series veteran Josh Dugan. "This year is my year to win."
There will be prizes, giveaways, and live music each Friday afternoon after the race.
