Head to Shawnee if you're new to skiing or snowboarding. The mountain upgraded its beginner's area for the new season Little Chief and Little Brave slopes are now larger and flatter and have a contoured learning center for lessons. The chairlifts that serviced the beginner's area were replaced by two magic carpets. The area will also be lit so you can learn under the lights.
