Mont Sutton Hosts 'Divas On Skis Salomon' Thursdays

Mont Sutton is offering special women's Thursdays through Feb. 24 with Divas on Skis Salomon.

An all-day lift ticket costs $25 for women.

Women also are encouraged to sign up for a two-hour group lesson offered by the Sutton Snow School, with $2 of every lesson fee going to the Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation.

The lessons are geared for women skiers, and taught by women instructors.

There's more. All women who register for the Divas on Skis Salomon lessons will have a chance to win a pair of Salomon women's skis at the end of the season.

Whether or not participants in the Divas on Skis Salomon program take part in the lessons, the $25 lift ticket price might be enough to lure them onto the slopes with friends.

The Sunshine Center Day Spa is offering free chair massages for participants noon to 4 p.m. at the main chalet.

Bar Le Tucker has a special of two 12-ounce beers on tap for $6.

Sutton has 53 runs, nine chairs including three quads and six doubles, a vertial drop of 1,500 feet, and 174 acres of terrain.
