A fun-filled day of skiing, après music, a rail jam, night skiing and sledding is one not to be missed for the entire family. SolVista Basin at Granby Ranch hosts Kid's Totally Insane Winter Blast Saturday, Feb. 5. Make your way up to the mountains, just beyond Winter Park Resort, for an incredible weekend experience at one of Colorado's best family-catered resorts.

The Winter Blast includes games and activities followed by a rail jam and fireside acoustics. Registration for the rail jam begins at noon with the event kicking off at 1 p.m. Contestants 16 and under compete for cash and prizes. SolVista Basin's Terrain Park features seven Progression parks including an all-natural log park and an exclusive element termed "The Tank." The park is fully lit and open during weekly Saturday night skiing and sledding from 5 to 8 p.m.

Seven Trails Grille features singer/songwriter Phil Jensen from 2 to 5 p.m. The après music series is free, family-friendly, and open to all ages. Each week throughout the season a different performer takes the stage. Enjoy festive music, a warm drink, and great socializing around the outside fire pit.

Staying throughout the week? Be sure to make reservations for a Wednesday Night Social. A four-course dinner created by Chef Karl Vogelbacher and Chef Tom Kresler will be served. A unique menu is every week, using the freshest seasonal ingredients available. Socials run through March 30 and are served from 5 to 9 p.m.
