Starting tonight and continuing for the next three Tuesday nights, Blue is hosting a Tuesday Night Fever Slopestyle event for skiers and snowboarders. This is the first year the mountain has held such an event, so there's no telling how many people will show. Though a purse of $1000 in gift certificates should make for fierce competition. Taking place on the mountain's Sidewinder Park, the competition will include rails and jumps. Each week skiers and boarders will be judged in different categories on different features in the extremely diverse park (There's a school bus). Contestants will amass points each week and the high scorers will be invited to the finals to take place Feb. 27. There are separate women's divisions for skiers and snowboarders and boys will broken into categories of 14 and under and 15 and over in both skiing and boarding. The event costs $10 and participants will get a discounted lift-ticket for $19.
