The St. Moritz Gourmet Festival returns Jan. 31 to Feb. 4. This five-day event will see 10 star-crowned guest chefs from Italy, Germany, Austria, France, Denmark, and Switzerland joining forces with top chefs from St. Moritz's leading hotels, to cook up a storm.

The festival features a welcome cocktail party, five-course gourmet dinners, the Kitchen Party, gourmet safaris through different kitchens, wine tastings, mountain luncheons, and mountain dinners.

The festival will draw to a close with the Great Valser Gourmet Final Friday evening at 2486 metres altitude. This is where all the master chefs will celebrate a multi-course menu - each chef will prepare one course in his personal style accompanied by fine wine and live music.

A three-night Gourmet Festival Package (including two gourmet diners) costs CHF1190-1655; a two-night Great Valser Gourmet Final Package costs CHF1190-1530 per person (arrival Thursday or Friday).

Besides the well known festival establishments such as Badrutt's Palace Hotel, Carlton Hotel, Grand Hotel Kronenhof, Hotel Chesa Guardalej, Hotel Schweizerhof, Kempinski Grand Hotel des Bains, Kulm Hotel and Suvretta House, two new festival partners will join the celebrations this year: the five-star Hotel Waldhaus in Sils-Maria and the Hunting Lodge of Hotel Bellavista in Silvaplana-Surlej.
