Laax is hosting its annual week-long winter festival 'The Brits' March 20-27.

This year will mark the seventh edition of the event. The main event at The Brits is the snowboarding competition where freestylers battle it out for British championship titles.

Snowboarding is accompanied by numerous side events on the mountain and in the valley, including a diverse music programme with live concerts and DJs, ski and snowboard test centres, and the Airbag Competition. The coveted British Big Air titles, a £3000 cash prize, and the latest gear will be up for grabs.

The Pendulum DJ set at the Riders Palace Club will provide the climax to The Brits at 11 p.m. Saturday March, 26. Pendulum are known for their intense, loud, and electronic live performances.

Laax is made up of the villages Flims, Laax, and Falera. The ski area offers 220 kilometres of pistes, four snowparks, and Europe's largest half-pipe and freestyle slope.

Laax is home to Europe's first indoor freestyle hall at the base station where you'll also find the Freestyle Academy. Jumps and tricks can be practised here all year round. Besides trampolines and skateramps, the indoor training hall has a kicker facility for snowboards, skis and bikes where you land in a large foampit.
