Beaver Creek's tubing hill is a screaming good time for kids and families. It's the perfect entertainment for mom and dad and the kids, after your day on the slopes. It's the second year for the Haymaker Tubing Hill at Beaver Creek.

There are multiple lanes available and speeds are monitored. Jen Brown with Beaver Creek says, "There are tubes for parents, and tubes for little tubers. It's nice for the little ones because they're sitting in a child's tube, which helps control the speed." Brown adds that there is a great runoff area and the walls are built up between the lanes, which also allows kids to go by themselves.

Parents can ride along or hang out at The Ranch, where food and beverages are served during tubing hours. The Chuckwagon at the Ranch is also on hand outside with "grab and go" items such as pizza slices and pre-made sandwiches.

It's easy to get back up the hill, too, as there is a covered surface lift for you and your tube.

The Haymaker Tubing Hill is open from 1 p.m. to dusk, every afternoon through April 3. You must be 36 inches tall to ride the tubes. Make your reservations at The Ranch, or any Ski & Snowboard School. A release of liability will need to be signed for you and your children. The cost is $27 an hour per person.
