A long day of skiing or riding deserves a good night's rest, and especially if that bed is close to the lifts.
Sipapu Ski Resort has once again come up with a deal that rewards its daytime visitors with a free night of accommodations. All anyone has to do is make a room reservation and purchase a $39 day lift ticket at the northern New Mexico ski area. The night at the nearby Sipapu Motel is then free.
The motel units include two queen-sized beds and full bathroom, and are located within walking distance of the food and drink at the base lodge.
Participants in this deal must secure a reservation ahead of time with a credit card, and mention the "free lodging deal" when reserving a room and picking up their lift tickets. The free-lodging offer only applies for the night before or the night after a day of skiing or snowboarding. No-shows will be billed for the price of a lift ticket plus taxes.
The deal is good for the following dates: Jan. 17-20, and Jan. 23-Feb. 3; Feb. 6-10 and Feb. 13-17; Feb. 21-March 3; March 6-10, March 20-25, and March 27; and April 1-3, and April 8 to closing, which is scheduled for April 10.
Sipapu Ski and Summer Resort is New Mexico's oldest ski mountain, opened in 1952 by the Bolander family, who still owns the year-round recreation facility.
