Friday, April 1, between 8:30-10 p.m. suggestions and tips will be given by a ski wax specialist and free gadget giveaway.
Saturday, April 2 World Cup athletes will provide guidance and support - the morning is spent on the Seceda giant slalom and afternoon on the racing slope.
Sunday, April 3 is the 15th edition of the Südtirol Gardenissima race, which is comprised of six kilometres of slopes, a 1000-metre vertical, and through 110 gates. Participants drop from an altitude of 2518 metres from the starting gate on Mount Seceda.
World-cup champions are not the only ones who take part in this legendary race, ambitious amateur skiers also participate. Time records are just below four minutes.
The race is up to four times longer than any World Cup giant slalom, which means more hard work is required as well as concentration, technique, and a good physical condition and strength.
Registration for the race is covered, but participants still need to enrol themselves (gardenissima.eu) and pay the ski club membership or private insurance.
