Saalbach-Hinterglemm is promoting the Power Of Zehn this season, which offers cheap skiing for those under 19 years.
Ski passes cost $10 every Saturday throughout winter for those aged between 6 and 19. With the Power Of Zehn, a family of four with two children under 19 can now ski for €85 on a Saturday.
The €10 passes offer access to the Kitzsteinhorn, the Schmitten, and in the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang.
The three areas accessible with the Power Of Zehn offer unlimited possibilities for freestyle fans: the Kitzsteinhorn has three snowparks on the glacier and the Sonnenkarbahn lift, with a halfpipe and Volvo Ice Camp; the Rome Park on the Schmitten features freeski jibbing sessions; and Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang has two snowparks - the Nitro Snowpark on the Asitz in Leogang and the new Nightpark accessed via the new Unterschwarzachbahn lift in Hinterglemm.
Saalbach-Hinterglemm has invested €8 million into revamping its ski area this year. Skiers and snowboarders will benefit from an eight-seater gondola, the 'Unterschwarzach-Bahn'. This new gondola was constructed over summer and replaces the old T-bar lift near the funpark. It is complete with heated seats and can carry 2,400 people per hour up to the top station above the Gerstreit reservoir.
Saalbach is offering another discount for Easter skiers: the Easter Bonus is valid from March 19 and means when parents buy a ski pass (three days or more) children born 1995 to 2004 ski free.
