Seven Springs Snowsports School offers a wide range of specialty programs for racers, recreational skiers, ski instructor-candidates, adults, all-mountain skiers and boarders, telemark skiers, and more.

The NASTAR Program focuses on improving racing skills for people who compete in the largest recreational ski and snowboard race series in the world. Rates for a one-hour private lesson are $70 weekdays, $80 weekends, $88 holidays. Rates for an hour and 45-minute group lesson are $31 weekdays, $35 weekends, $38 holidays.

The Premier Ski Program, a four-sesson course offered Feb. 6, 13, 20, and 27, focuses on the parallel method of skiing, learning to be a ski instructor, skill advancement, bump and run, telemark skiing, and snowboarding. Cost is $200 without lift ticket or equipment.

The Sunday Adult Ski/Board Programs are designed to improve the skills of skiers and riders. Each hour and 45-minute lesson costs $40 per person.

The Snowsports Merit Badge Program is a five-week course designed to prepare Scouts for a merit badge exam in Downhill Skiing, and Snowboarding. Classes are Jan. 9, 23, and 30, and Feb. 6 and 13. Cost for the five-week program is $120 for lift tickets and lessons, $70 for rental gear, $60 for lessons only, and $50 for helmet rental.

The Mountain Adventure Team and The Rider Squad take kids age 8 to 15 through their paces in preparation to meet all conditions and terrain the mountain offers. The program lasts seven weekends, and costs $650 for either the ski or snowboard group.
