Bordercross/skiercross competition begins at 7 p.m. March 2 on Upper Nor'easter and Stinger. This is an elimination format, skier against skier, rider against rider, in which the first two racers across the finish line advance to the next round. Age categories in each discipline are Males (under 13; 14-21; 22 and older); Females (Open). The Stinger trail will be closed for the event. Temptor and N'oreaster will be accessible via Canyon Run at the Sundeck. Register at the Welcome Center desk from 5-5:45 p.m. There is a $10 fee. Course inspection is at 6 p.m., with competition from 7-9 p.m. Helmets are required. Release form required and must be signed by parent or legal guardian if competitor is under age 18.
