The Snow Centre aims to bring snowsports to everyone in the UK, and they won't allow disabilities to stand in the way.
In partnership with DSUK, the centre is striving to open up snowsports to anyone who has any kind of disability.
The fully qualified BASI adaptive instructors offer group lessons and personal one-to-one sessions to accommodate for all disabilities. There's a full range of equipment available to enable everyone to enjoy snowsports independently or with a helper. Everyone can experience snowsports on real snow.
The Snow Centre is one of Britain's newest indoor real snow centres. It is home to a 160-metre-long and 30-metre-wide main slope lined with snow canons and served by four lift systems. The centre also boasts the largest indoor lesson slope in the UK at 100 metres.
Qualified instructors are on hand to train all levels. The Snow Centre was recently awarded ‘centre of excellence' status from the British Association of Snowsports Instructors.
The centre has partnered with HEAD to provide all the equipment needed (skis/snowboard, boots, poles, and helmet) included in the price of your ticket. Remember to dress in warm, waterproof clothes and gloves. Snow clothes are also available for hire at the centre.
Prices are as follows: adult ski pass £18-23 p/h; junior ski pass £16-19 p/h; three-hour group lessons £78 per person; and 30-minute private lessons £77 per person.
