Châtel is offering a kid-friendly ski deal for Easter. Kids under 12 ski free when mum or dad hit the pistes starting April 9.
Châtel offers the family a free child's pass for each adult Portes du Soleil pass purchased. This offer is valid for passes of three or more days bought in conjunction with accommodation. A three-day adult pass (without accommodation) for Les Portes du Soleil costs €112.
The offer should be booked through Châtel's reservation site.
Families will particularly appreciate Châtel, which has earned France's Famille Plus label. 40 ski resorts in France meet the strict criteria necessary for Famille Plus certification, which guarantees that the resort offers family friendly facilities, prices, and activities suitable to children of all ages.
Châtel, for example, offers the Milka Mauve Piste where children can learn about mountain plants and animals as they make their way down this easy run and specially-reserved sledge runs so that little ones can have fun and stay safe.
The resort also proposes fun non-ski activities for little ones, such as wood-decorating workshops for 3-6 year olds, garland-making workshops for 5-10 year olds, and mountainscape painting for 6-12 year olds.
As for skiing, Châtel offers 83 kilometres of alpine pistes and Les Portes du Soleil includes a whopping 650 kilometres of pistes.
