Courmayeur's snow depth increased to two feet at resort level and four feet on higher runs following falls adding up to ten inches on Sunday. Overall 14 inches has fallen in the past few days and another foot is forecast by Saturday. Unlike in many European resorts, snow cover at village level has hit the average level for this time of season, on the upper slopes cover is a bit down on the norm, but not substantially.
