Tickets for the Zermatt Unplugged festival are now on sale.

The festival is to be held on eight stages in the Matterhorn village April 12-16. There are already seven confirmed acts for the main marquee and the Vernissage.

Acts this year include Roger Hodgson, formerly of Supertramp; American band OneRepublic who broke onto the scene with Apologize; pop and soul singer Seal; song writer David Gray; New York band Naturally 7; and Swiss musicians Marc Sway and Sina.

Tickets are now available in the ZAP bookstore at Hofmattstrasse 3 and from Swiss POST on the Bahnhofstrasse. Tickets for individual performances are also available o line.

The price of tickets depends on your chosen seating area; tickets range from CHF75 to CHF175. The festival takes place in the evening over the five-day period; doors open at 6 p.m. and the entertainment kicks off 8:30 p.m. until 10 p.m.

Zermatt is easily accessible: the resort is car-free, but there are multi-storey car parks in Tasch and from here shuttle trains run to Zermatt every 20 minutes. Alternatively, there are direct train connections between Zermatt and Brig and Visp.
