Alpine Mountain in North Analomink, in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania, is hosting the Boy Scouts of America on three weekends this winter.
The family resort offers deals on lift tickets, lessons, and rentals, as well as on snowtubing, in a variety of configurations that provide flexibility of choice.
Alpine Mountain Scout Days are Jan. 8-9; Feb. 5-6; and March 5-6. They are offered in conjunction with Minisi Trails BSA.
Scouts of all ages and abilities are invited to take part in wintersports activities, along with their families, on these weekends.
Scouts and family members can choose from skiing, snowboarding, or snowtubing.
Rates are $35 for lift ticket, group lesson, and rental gear; $28 for lift ticket and group lesson; $23 for lift ticket; $30 for lift ticket and rental gear; $7 snowtubing upgrade after skiing or riding; $15 for six-hour snowtubing session 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Alpine Mountain has set aside those three weekends for Boy Scout days, but staff are willing to work with Scouts who are unable to come those days, but who would like to participate in winter sports at Alpine.
The resort asks that Scouts register two weeks in advance.
