Season passes are still on sale at Ragged Mountain and come with an array of perks. Adult passes are $499; College Pass is $289; Teen/Junior/Senior Passes are $399; 5 and under Passes are $10.

Full season ski rentals are $199 for adults and teens, $179 for juniors.

Ragged offers passholders the chance to buy Flamingo Bucks, which get loaded onto passes, and which come with a 10 percent premium. In other words, for every $10 a passholder pays, Ragged loads $11 onto the pass, which acts like a debit card anywhere at the resort there's a credit card machine.

Passholders who talk friends into buying a season pass get $20 of Flamingo Bucks loaded onto their cards.

Passholders get to hop on the lift at 8 a.m. on certain days, ahead of all other skiers and riders, for the best runs of the day.

Passholders also receive 10 percent off the price of daily group and private lessons, $5 off tune-ups, and $5 off binding checks at the rental shop.

Ragged plans a New Year's Eve celebration in the base lodge, with music by Nick's Other Band, fireworks, pizza party, and more family fun. Reservations suggested.
