Skiers and snowboarders have been able to take advantage of discounted daily specials at Mt. Rose-Ski Tahoe in the past. But the resort lengthened the list of specials offered this winter.
Mondays excluding holiday periods now are known as Bonus Mondays. Lift tickets cost $29 on Mondays for those who present the previous Saturday or Sunday ticket. Those who didn't ski on the weekend can still buy a ticket on Bonus Mondays for $39.
The Happy Landings special is available or those who fly into Reno and want to ski the same day. Purchase of a lift ticket on the arrival day will add on a second day lift ticket for free.
Lift tickets purchased online are priced with a discount. New multiple day tickets are available with an adult consecutive three-day lift ticket costing $138, with the third day free. An adult consecutive five-day lift ticket goes for $179.
Other daily lift ticket specials from last year are still available this year, too. Two 'fer Tuesdays allow the purchase of two full day lift tickets for the price of one. Wednesdays grant $35 lift tickets for those age 50 years or older or college students with current school identification. Thursdays are Ladies Day, giving women a $35 lift ticket. The weekday deals, including Bonus Mondays, are valid following the holidays starting Jan. 3.
Runs 'n Roses is a special available every day. A family of two adults and two children 12 years old and younger can purchase a family package for $148.
