Poker fans can enjoy their favourite apres-ski activity in the French Alps. Poker tournaments are taking place in Montgenevre and Les 2 Alpes this January.

The Poker Tour du Montgenevre (Jan. 17-21) is a five-day tournament where professionals and amateurs play side by side. There is no entrance free, but first prize is a trip to Las Vegas for two. Other prizes include a Montgenevre summer pass, a snowboard, and a pair of skis. The tournament kicks off at 9 p.m. each evening, with daytime activities including group skiing, snowtubing, picnics, and a big air bag open to all. More information

Les 2 Alpes Poker Week (Jan. 9-14) will roll out for the third time this winter with freeroll tournaments, sit and go sessions, and poker lessons every evening from 6 p.m. The event is free to enter and there are many prizes to be won.
