The Mighty Midwest Snowboard Camp Tour is hitting five Heartland ski areas over the next few weeks. Three of the camps are scheduled over the holidays.

Buck Hill's Minnesota camp takes place Dec. 26-27; Tyrol Basin, Wisconsin, Dec 28-29; and Raging Buffalo Snowboard Park, Illinois, Dec. 30-31. Cannonsburg in Michigan will host the camp Jan. 8-9, and Mad River Mountain's camp in Ohio is scheduled for Jan. 22-23.

The cost for the two-day camps: Buck Hill is $125, lift tickets purchased separately; Tyrol Basin is $150 for season pass holders, $200 with lift tickets; Raging Buffalo, which includes lunch both days, is $250 with lift tickets and $175 for pass holders. Information was not available at press time on Cannonsburg and Mad River Mountain.

The camps, sponsored by SO-GNAR, bring custom made jib features, progression and pro-rider coaches to each area. You get to ride with the pros,  learn new tricks, style and creativity while having fun, and there are always lots of free swag giveaways. It is snowboard camp after all, what's not to like?

Five Red Bull Butter Cup events will be held the second day of camp. The first Butter Cup of the season will be on Dec. 27 at Buck Hill and campers will have exclusive early registration opportunities.  The Red Bull Butter Cup is a contest series that showcases creativity in technical flatland trickery.  Style and creativity is the name of the game, and the competition can get hot.
