UK Airline Jet2 has expanded its services for skiers this winter, with new flights from Edinburgh and Newcastle to Geneva.

The new services will operate during peak winter times with Newcastle flights departing from Dec. 26 to Jan. 9 and then Feb. 20 to March 27. The new Edinburgh service will operate from Feb. 20 to March 27. Flights are now on sale from £29.99 one way, including taxes.

Geneva is an hour's drive from Abondance, Chamonix, Flaine, La Clusaz, Les Gets, Megeve, Samoens, Villars-Gryon, and Morzine.

Jet2 also flies to Chambery from East Midlands, Edinburgh, Leeds Bradford, Manchester and Newcastle airports with prices from £19.99 one way including taxes; to Geneva from East Midlands, Leeds Bradford, Manchester, Edinburgh, Belfast and Newcastle airports from £19.99; and to Salzburg from Edinburgh, Leeds Bradford and Manchester airports from £39.99.

Chambery is an hour's drive from the leading ski resorts: Courchevel, La Norma, La Tania, Les Saisies, Megeve, Meribel, Valmorel, and Orelle.

Geneva is an hour's drive from Abondance, Chamonix, Flaine, La Clusaz, Les Gets, Megeve, Morzine, Samoens, and Villars-Gryon.
