Forty-nine Degrees North launched its discount days last week. The resort, which expanded to full operation in early December even opening the West Basin glades, offers several ways for skiers and riders to save a few dollars on lift tickets.

The resort's Mega Mondays deal started up last Monday. Participating franchises of Yoke's Fresh Market and Noodle express in Washington and Idaho carry vouchers good for $10 off lift tickets on Mondays. The vouchers can be used any Monday except for Dec. 27, Jan. 17, and Feb. 21.

The Tuesday deal allows skiers and riders to purchase two lift tickets for the price of one. You'll need to pick up a voucher for the 2 Fer Tuesdays deal at participating Papa Murphy's restaurants in Washington and Idaho. The vouchers are valid for use through April 10, except for Dec. 28.

The resort also offers other ways to get discounts. Those who purchase lift tickets online can save $2 through March 28. The discount is good for weekday, weekend, or holiday tickets.

Upper and lower mountain lifts run under the lights until 8 p.m. for four evenings of night skiing starting this Saturday. Tickets cost $10 or $4 plus two cans of food for the Chewelah Food Bank. Night skiing runs Dec. 18, Jan. 1, Jan. 15, and Feb. 19.

Forty-nine Degrees North operates Fridays through Tuesdays for its regular schedule. It runs lifts daily for the holidays, Dec. 17 through Jan. 4.
