The freeride fair, known as the "Ultimate Test Tour", offers all levels of freerider the chance to try out the latest equipment from the most popular brands.

The Ultimate Test Tour begins in Pic Du Midi Jan. 15-16, then arrives in Saint Foy Jan. 21-23, Verbier Jan. 28-30, La Grave Feb. 12-13, and Serre Chevalier March 19-20.

The tour is a five-stage event, showcasing the latest freeride equipment for both skiers and snowboarders. Freeriders can buy or test gear on the mountain. There are various types of tests, from a simple kit test to a day out accompanied by a guide to ensure freeriding in safety.

The event features stands with demo equipment from brands such as Black Crows, Black Diamond, Recco, and Faction Skis.

The five ski resorts hosting the Ultimate Test Tour are known for their quality freeride terrain. La Grave has been an off-piste mecca for years, with freeriders flocking to the legendary descents - the longest being 2400 metres. In fact La Grave has very limited pisted terrain, therefore it is essential that skiers take a guide. Professional ski guides can help you avoid crevasses and avalanches at the same time as showing you the best the mountain has to offer.
