The ski resort is kicking off the season with Opening Weeks package, which includes seven days' accommodation and ski passes starting from €444 per person. It is valid from Dec. 6 to 18.
A wide choice of accommodation is available for this deal: a bed and breakfast starts at €444; a three-star hotel with breakfast €520; a three-star hotel with half-board €597; a four-star hotel with half-board €699; a two-person apartment €490; and a four-person apartment €990.
Obertauern's Christmas Week package offers seven days' accommodation and ski pass from €454 per person. The deal is valid Dec. 18-25.
Choose from a selection of accommodation and board options: pensions start at €454; three-star hotels with breakfast €530; three-star hotels with half-board €605; four-star hotels with half-board €710; a two-person apartment €490; and a four-person apartment €990.
Obertauern's ski area is located at 1630-2313 metres. It is one of Austria's highest ski areas and is known as "Austria's Snowbowl". The resort boasts a six-month ski season (end of November to beginning of May), so it is a good bet for reliable snow conditions in the spring sunshine.
