The ski coach company, Snow Express, have just announced they will be running a new service from London to Les Deux Alpes for the February school half-term.
Snow Express is a low-cost, greener method of travel to the slopes. The company runs services from Central london to more than 40 French ski resorts, with fares starting from £60 per person.
Snow Express has been operating since 2009 and carries around 2500 UK passengers to 40 destinations in the French Alpes each winter. Coaches run every Friday from London on scheduled services and reach the ski resorts between midday and 5 p.m. Saturday.
Advantages of Snow Express include no additional charges for luggage, lengthy airport queues, flight delays, lost baggage, and long transfers to the resort.
The runs to 10 ski resorts directly: Argentiere, Chamonix, Bourg, Cluses, St Foy, Aime, Moutiers, Tignes Le Lac, Tignes Val Claret, Val d'Isere. Tthe others are served by connection, including Les Arcs, Flaine, La Plagne, La Tania, Courchevel, Meribel, Les Menuires, Val Thorens, and Valmorel.
The Web site also offers optional extras like equipment hire, ski lessons, foreign exchange, lift passes, ski insurance, and airport transfers for those getting the coach there and flying home.
