It sits on the slopes of Beaver Creek, with skiing and riding just outside the door. The Osprey opened in December of 2008, kind of. It used to be The Inn at Beaver Creek, until its recent $7 million transformation. Now it is a RockResort, and the closest ski-in/ski-out hotel to a chairlift  (the Strawberry Park Express Lift) in North America, and just steps from the main Beaver Creek Plaza.

A ski valet will get your gear to an outdoor ski rack, so you're ready for your day. The lobby boasts a Wii station for entertaining. You'll find 47 guest rooms, two of which are penthouse residences. Vail Resorts Amy Kemp says The Osprey is one of her favorite ski lodges, "because the team at The Osprey makes you feel right at home as soon as you enter the lobby. That feeling of visiting family or friends is carried through to the cozy living room."

Beaver Creek's Jen Brown agrees," The cozy lobby and fireplace setting are the backdrop where new friendships are born, stories are shared, and the outside world is left behind. It's a place you'll want to return to again and again for your experience of a lifetime on and off the slopes."

The Osprey Lounge features a tapas-style menu designed by Chef Michael Wilganowski. You won't want to miss his Sweet Potato and Cheese Enchilada, Lobster Nachos, or Grilled Brie sandwich. Wrap up the evening with Fried Snicker, Milk Caramel and Sugared Pecans.

The property is available for company retreats, board meetings, and other events, with the 1,200-square-foot Peregrine Room. It also sits next to the picturesque Beaver Creek Chapel.
