Les Rousses, a Franco-Swiss ski area made of four villages, has a wide variety of stay deals for this winter, including Nordic activity packages in the Jura mountains.
The Douceur Nordique stay includes several different activities: a cross-country afternoon, two snowshoeing afternoons, and a nocturnal snowshoe outing with cheese fondue in a lodge, all accompanied by a ski instructor. The package also includes a visit to the cheese cellars of the Fort des Rousses, a visit to a ski factory, and dog-sledging. Accommodation is for seven nights of half-board, starting at €315 per person Jan. 22-29 or from €350 per person March 12-19, based on double occupancy.
The Escapade Weekend Raquette is for fans of snowy treks. It includes an afternoon of snowshoeing with a ski instructor to discover the different itineraries through the four villages of Les Rousses. Guests will also get a topo guide so that they can enjoy one of the themed walks on their own. This half-board stay is for two nights, available Jan. 2-30, and starts at €142 per person, based on double occupancy.
The Activités Nordiques stay lets visitors try a whole range of Nordic activities, with a different adventure each day. The package includes cross-country skiing lessons, snowshoe outings with a guide, backcountry skiing, and other activities. So you can recuperate between each day's outing, the stay also includes three entrances to the sauna and a yoga class. Accommodation is for seven nights of half-board, starting at €361 per person Jan. 22-29 or from €400 per person March 12-19, based on double occupancy.
