The Web site bus2alps.com is offering an eight-day ski holiday to Interlaken, in Switzerland's Jungfrau Region, priced from €799 per person.
The holiday includes return bus travel from London, six nights' accommodation with breakfast, a six-day Jungfrau Region Ski Pass, and a 10-percent discount on ski/snowboard gear rentals.
A choice of accommodation is available within the package, including a multi-share hostel starting from €799 per person; a double room in a three-star hotel starting from €1040; and a double room in a four-star hotel from €1599.
Seats are still available for trips departing on the following dates: Dec. 11, Jan. 8, Jan. 15, 22, 29; Feb. 5, 12, 19, 26; March 5, 12, 19, 26; and April 2.
Three-day London to Interlaken weekend trips are also available from €159 per person.
Interlaken is a pretty lakeside town, and although it has no skiing of its own, it is a good base from which to explore the ski resorts of the Jungfrau Region (Grindelwald, Wengen, and Murren) linked by bus or rail.
The Jungfrau Region kicks off the season Dec. 4. With pistes above 2500 metres, skiing is snowsure throughout the season (ending April 25).
