Wintergreen Resort in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia has Christmas plans for the whole family.
The resort's brand new ice arena, Shamokin Ice, will be up and running for the holidays as well, offering another winter activity for vacationers during the Christmas-New Year holiday.
Wintergreen's own Santa will be on the slopes, skiing, handing out candy canes to all, and posing for family picture.
The resort is hosting a Christmas Eve Breakfast with Santa, a Christmas Eve worship service followed by refreshments, and a Candlelight Christmas Eve Buffet in Copper Mine Bistro.
Kids get a Teddy Bear tuck-in.
Resort plans for the holiday also include a Christmas Dinner, family scavenger hunts, Winter Carnival at Discovery Ridge, family movies and game nights, and New Year's Eve celebrations.
