La Rosière is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. To celebrate, the resort has put together a programme of special winter activities.

Every Sunday evening, guests are invited to share in a welcome drink. Hot spiced wine and hot chocolate will be offered to visitors free of charge. Drinks will be served at the "50 years" bar, a block of ice that has been sculpted in the shape of "50 ans," French for 50 years.

Torches cast their light on the slopes for an evening of night skiing every Monday. While skiers make their way down the pistes, professor Freddo, an emblematic character of La Rosière, builds a time-travel machine on the snow front to travel back to 1960, when the resort opened. Thanks to his machine, guests will be treated to a show that highlights the important moments of the resort's history.

The tourism office hosts a photo exhibition titled "50 years, 50 photos" all season long. Guests can see how the resort was built and have a look at some of the more important events that have taken place at La Rosière.

Guests can pick up a booklet at the tourism office to participate in a treasure hunt. Follow the clues and solve the enigmas relating to the history of the resort, mountain security, and working in the mountain to win prizes.
