Chamonix is offering three ski packages this December costing from €228 for two nights.
The First Snow package includes three nights' hotel accommodation and a three-day Mont-Blanc Unlimited ski pass. The deal costs from €228 in a two-star hotel, €282 in a three-star hotel, and €441 in a four-star hotel. It is valid Dec. 4 to 17.
The Christmas Atmosphere package includes five nights' hotel accommodation and a six-day Mont-Blanc Unlimited ski pass. The deal costs from €400 in a two-star hotel, €505 in a three-star hotel, and €795 in a four-star hotel. Arrival is for Dec. 18 or 19.
The Simply Chamonix package is a mid-week break for two to five nights in a hotel. A two-star hotel with breakfast costs €39 per person, per night; a three-star hotel is €54.50; and a four-star is €83. This offer is valid throughout December (excluding Christmas and bank holidays).
Chamonix's skiing extends over three main areas: Brevent/Flegere, with south-facing slopes and panoramic views of the Mont Blanc chain; the Grens Montets, a high-altitude north-facing are overlooking the village of Argentiere; and the Balme area with its wide-open slopes at the top of the valley. The sister resort of les Houches is located at the end of the valley. All ski areas are accessed by the Mont-Blanc Unlimited pass.
