Val Thorens has made significant improvements to its ski area this year: there are new panoramic cabins on the Cime Caron Cable Car; new beginner ski areas - new runs and a modified snowpark for all abilities; and a face lift for the Stadium Slalom.
Val Thorens, with a village at 2300 metres and summits reaching 3230 metres, is Europe's highest resort. During these first weekends, guests will be able to enjoy 140 kilometres of powdered pistes.
The resort also includes a 70,000-square-metre snowpark, complete with a Jump'Air. This shock-absorbing inflatable mattress allows freestylers to practice their tricks in complete safety.
