Treetops Resort's season pass sale is under way with a price increase looming. Lift and lodging packages from $79 per person will be available from opening day, just in time for the holidays.

The basic ski package includes a night's lodging, skiing from the night of arrival, and breakfast, from $79 per person, based on double occupancy.

Treetops' season pass sale runs through Dec. 26. The next price increase occurs Dec. 1.  Currently an individual adult season pass starts from $135.  A teen pass (13-17) starts from $112.50, and a junior pass (9-12) from $85.50.  A child's pass (8 and under) and senior pass (65+) are $10 anytime.  If you get three people together and purchase the Fill A Triple pass, individual rates start from adult $115, teens $92.50, and juniors $65.50.

Treetops plans to open for the season Dec. 26.  The resort's high elevation, abundant snowfall, and scenic beauty provide a perfect location for skiing and riding.  It's located just east of Gaylord along a ridge overlooking the Pigeon River valley.

The resort offers 23 runs, The Yard Terrain Park, three chairlifts, and a couple of surface tows. There's also a tubing park with its own lift.  The Yard features 10-to-20-foot rails, a 16-foot battleship kinked rail, a 16-foot rainbow rail, and numerous tabletops and natural jib features.
