Obergurgl-Hochgurgl ski area opens for the winter season Nov. 18 with reduced ski passes, live music, shows, and a sledding party in the first week.
All early season skiers will benefit from reduced ski passes between Nov. 18 and 28. Everyone will be eligible for senior ski passes at €37.50 per day instead of €42,50.
The event "Premiere In The Snow" will be held Nov. 20 and features live music entertainment in all ski huts: O-Tones will play live at Top Mountain Star 12:30 p.m.; Highlight Trio will play at Hohe Mut Alm 12:30 p.m.; Nederlumpen live show at Nederhuette 4 p.m.; and O-Tones at Putt-in-Golfbar in Hochgurgl 9 p.m. The Highlights, Austria's most renowned cover band, will play at the Piccard Lounge in Obergurgl village centre from 9:30 p.m. (€7 admission).
The resort will host the Sledding Party Nov. 24 with live music and night tobogganing on the floodlit natural toboggan run from 5 p.m. DJ Matze Bielek from Radio Gong and DH Gunni from Radio BSR will host the Clubsound show at the Piccard Lounge Nov. 26 from 9 .m. (€7 admission).
The Opening Party will take place Nov. 27 with Stoapfälzer Spitzbuam live on stage at the Piccard Lounge 9 p.m. (€9 admission). There will also be live music fat all the mountain huts.
