How would you like to ski or ride every day all over Michigan this winter for $500?

That's not just one area, but at 17 of the top ski areas scattered across the Wolverine State; both peninsulas.

The U.S. Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame is offering the Ski Michigan Gold Card in a very limited run. The card is $500 and entitles the holder to ski, ride or stride all season long at 17 - possibly 20 - of the Wolverine State's top ski areas.  There are no restrictions on when you can use it, and the Gold Card is fully transferable.  You can share it with family, friends, customers and clients.

The only restriction is that the card can be used once per day at any participating resort, according to Hall of Fame CEO Tom West.

"It's really a great deal for anybody that enjoys getting out frequently during the winter season," he told OnTheSnow. "We encourage users to go all over the state. That's the beauty of this card. It offers great variety in both the Upper and Lower Peninsula.

"We are still negotiating with a few ski areas before we finalize the list," he added. "We have 17 signed up already, and the final list should be online shortly. We may add three more areas."

The list includes most of the state's larger ski resorts and many popular smaller ski areas.Boyne Highlands and Boyne Mountain, Caberfae Peaks, Crystal Mountain, and Shanty Creek are among Lower Michigan resorts represented, and Indianhead, Big Powderhorn, Marquette Mountain and Ski Brule are some of the UP ski areas included. The entire state is well represented. For a list of all participating areas, follow the link below.

The card will more than pay for itself if you ski or ride more than a couple of weeks per season,.Proceeds from the sale of the cards helps preserve skiing and snowboarding's heritage at the Hall of Fame.
