The Viceroy Snowmass is in the heart of Snowmass Village and just seven miles from Aspen. The newest property in Snowmass is celebrating one year in operation. It opened last year on Thanksgiving Day, the day the mountain opened for the season.
"The first year was a great one, and we've been extremely busy since opening," according to the resort's Campbell Levy. "Viceroy Snowmass continues to be a highly sought after special events and wedding venue and I imagine this will bolster business even further." Levy adds other unique amenities include a ski-in/ski-out ballroom, pool area, and sushi restaurant.
"Not only does the new resort attract out-of-town guests who used to stay in Aspen, but it has welcomed locals with open arms at its spa and restaurants."
The Viceroy Snowmass has 173 places to stay ranging from studios to four-bedroom units. It offers complimentary transportation to Aspen and skier shuttles to all four Aspen-owned mountains.
Nest Sushi is the ski-in/ski-out sushi restaurant. Chef Francis Mo offers sushi-making classes Monday après-ski.
Kids enjoy the Generation V program. It is within walking distance to the Treehouse, which is the home of the Ski & Snowboard School. It's a 25,000-square-foot facility with activity and day care programs for babies to teens.
