Leukerbad has introduced the Snow And Spa Week package, valid Jan. 3 to April 11, to combine skiing and thermal relaxation.
The package includes seven nights in a hotel with breakfast and a six-day Snow And Spa Pass priced from CHF699.50 per person. The pass gives free access to the Torrent and Gemmi cableways and ski area of Erli; entrance to the thermal baths of the Burgerbad and Lindner Alpentherme; use of the shuttle bus (ring jet) and the bus line LLB (Leurkerbad-Flaschen-Albinen); and access to the Sportarena (ice rink, indoor soccer).
The package is also available with apartment accommodation (valid Jan. 8 to April 24) for the price of CHF1201 (price per apartment, not people). Alternatively, if you'd rather organise your own accommodation, the Snow And Spa Pass is also available on its own.
Skiers and snowboarders have the choice of two ski lifts in the village or they can take the cable car to the Torrent ski area. More than 50 kilometres of pistes, some of which have seen world-cup races, as well as the snowboard fun park provide a wealth of opportunities. Six ski lifts and a six-passenger gondola link the Torrent and Albinen ski area. Cross-country skiers have 12 kilometres of trails to explore near the village.
