Les 2 Alpes' glacier at 3600 metres will open for the All Saints Holiday from Saturday, Oct. 23 to Monday, Nov. 1.

Les 2 Alpes officially kicks off its winter season Nov. 27, but those who can't wait that long have the chance to ski the glacier's high-altitude slopes and test this season's latest ski and snowboard equipment.

The resort is to host the "Rock On Snowboard Tour" Oct. 23 and 24 (in the half-term holidays). This weekend offers the chance for visitors to come and try ou tall the very latest snowboard equipment totally free of charge on the glacier. Snowboard brands include Burton, Oakley, Apo, Drake, K2 Snowboarding, and more.

Also on the same two days is the "Come On For Ski" event, which offers the chance to ski for free - try out the latest ski equipment. Ski test top brands, like Armada, Black Crows, Faction, K2 skis, and more.

In peak season, Les 2 Alpes offers 225 kilometres of ski pistes and 20 kilometre of cross-country trails. Its 104 pistes (27 green, 45 blue, 18 red, and 14 black) are served by 50 modern lifts. A six-day ski pass covering all slopes costs €195 for adults, €156 for children.
