Elk Mountain in Union Dale, Pa., has a couple of ways for frequent skiers and snowboarders to hit the slopes, season passes and Big and Friendly Books coupons.
Season passes are on sale at pre-season rates.
Adult Season Passes, for ages 19 and up, cost $760 until Dec. 1, when they increase to $825. Junior Season Passes, ages 13-18, cost $690, then $750. Children's Season Passes, ages 6-12, and Senior Season Passes, ages 65 and up, cost $620, then $674.
Children 5 and under ski free with a parent or legal guardian who buys a season pass.
Elk Mountain's Big and Friendly Book offers coupons which offers savings of more than $600 toward the purchase of lift tickets, lessons, and equipment rentals.
Big and Friendly Books cost $545 for adults until Dec. 1, when they increase to $590. They cost $490 for juniors, then $530. They cost $450 for children and seniors, then $495.
Elk Mountain also has lift ticket deals for seniors and college students through the season.
Lift tickets for seniors cost $20 on Super Senior Tuesdays, which are Tuesdays Jan. 4 through March 15.
Day or night lift tickets for college students with valid ID cost $20 on Wild Wednesdays, Jan. 5 through March 16.
