Combloux, part of the Portes du Mont Blanc ski area, has launched a flexible family-friendly deal priced between €241 and €436 for a week.
The "Parents Malins" offer includes seven days' accommodation in a two- or three-bedroom apartment and six-day lift passes for Les Portes du Mont Blanc. It is aimed at parents with children under the age of five and who wish to avoid the school holiday crowds. The offer is good through Jan. 1-29 and March 19 to April 9.
If one parent wants to ski, the offer starts at €241. If both parents ski, the offer starts at €294. The children ski for free.
Non-skiing adults can opt for half days of spa treatments such as Ayurveda, Shiatsu, or bamboo massages, facials, and hot stone treatments. If they want to be more active, non-skiers can add six days of gear hire such as snowshoes, cross-country skis, and sledges for €60 to €75.
Parents can also leave their little ones in safe hands with the "gardineige" child-minding option. Basic care with meals is priced at €136.50 but parents can opt for childcare, meals, and ski lessons for €171.50. That's savings of 20-30 percent off regular prices.
The Portes du Mont Blanc area offers 100 kilometres of downhill runs and 5.5 kilometres of cross-country trails.
