Season passes are on sale at Alpine Meadows and Homewood Mountain Resort throughout October. Their combined passes-for all ages, including college students--allows skiers and snowboarders to access lifts at both resorts. Season pass packages can include a pair of boutique skis.
The combined passes for Alpine Meadows and Homewood come in three types: Unfiltered, Slightly Filtered, and College season passes. These passes permit skiers and snowboarders to ride 20 lifts that cover 3,600 acres of terrain.
Unfiltered passes offer unlimited use. They are valid on weekdays, weekends, and all holidays. They are available for adults at $799, teens at $349, and children at $199. Family Unfiltered passes, for two adults and two children under 18 years old, cost $1,599.
Adults can reduce the price of a season pass by purchasing a Slightly Filtered Pass. It comes with blackout dates and costs $559. It grants lift access at both resorts every day except for Dec. 26 - Jan 2, Jan. 15 - 16, and Feb. 19-20.
College student passes, which cost $299, allow for visiting both resorts, too. Blackout dates are the same as the Slightly Filtered Pass.
Adult skiers looking to hop on a new pair of boutique boards can get a package that combines a pair of custom branded Moment skis with a dual-mountain season pass. The package costs $1,199 with the Unfiltered Pass or $959 with the Slightly Filtered pass. The skis come in five sizes and two models-the Tahoe for men and the Sierra for women. The package is not available for college students.
Season passes for the individual resorts are available, too. Alpine Meadows features a Midweek Plus Sunday Pass for adults, and Homewood offers a special local resident pass for those who live between Kings Beach and Meeks Bay.
Season passes are on sale through Oct. 31. They may be purchased online, by phone, or in person at the Alpine Meadows office.
