Cascade Mountain's season pass sale runs though the end of October, and they have a pass to fit just about any busy schedule.

Cascade offers the Platinum Pass for those who don't like to wait in lines which is currently $396 through the end of October. That's a 20-percent discount over the regular price of $495. It's direct to the lift, includes a tubing ticket, and is good anytime the area is open.

The Gold Flex Card, good anytime during the season, is currently $316. It goes up to $395 Nov. 1. The catch is you must stop at the ticket window to pick up your eight-hour lift ticket. The Gold Lite Flex Card, providing unlimited skiing Monday through Friday, is currently $248.

A Bronze Flex Card, currently $180, allows you one lift ticket Monday through Thursday, and Sunday after 5 p.m. A child pass (12 and under), good anytime, is now $79.20. Children in that age category ski or ride free with a paid adult. This pass would be good if they are by themselves.

Those without the Platinum Pass can get a Snow Tubing Card for $72 through October. It's good for unlimited tubing Monday through Thursday and two hours Friday through Sunday and holiday periods.

Cascade is a pure ski hill.  No lodging, no mint on the pillow. The total effort is directed to the ski hill and providing a good experience for skiing and riding. The 460-foot hill offers 27 trails, four terrain parks and a half-pipe. Cascades bump runs are well-known. They'll make you wish for teenage knees.
